I need some stuff Muffler, Right Side Bag, and Tail Piece

Okay, so I have some insurance money to spend.

I need a right side bag, I can get the cover repainted so any color in good shape will work. I would rather not buy from the dealer and make a "win-win" situation for someone and myself on the board.

I need a right side can, but would go with a pair of aftermarket slip ons because of the cost of a stock pipe.

I need the tail piece that the bags hook into. It wraps all the way around both sides when the bag connects into. It is the plastic piece.

Josh, you been practicing lane sharing again? I got a left muffler here and left bag was paid by insurance...of the guy who hit me from behind. Your damage sounds identical but I never did get the rear cowl. Check to be sure the support bracket under the cowl that actually holds the bag is not cracked where the bag hooks on.

BTW I didn't go down, did you?

No. I didn't go down but someone else did cause of what I had to do to avoid hitting a person in the mide of the road. I wish it was me because of how bad I felt for the one who did. I am going to tell the story at the end of the SE spin trip report. I am just happy no one was hurt. It could have been bad for all of us. I waited this long because the "jury is still out" on how my insurance is going to handle it.

Picked up the set of Delkevics from Allen. Love the fact that our forum members can come through fro each other. Still looking for a right side case. My cover is still good. Just have to get the case and send the cover to get repainted.

I MIGHT have a right side case in good shape for you. I just have to see if the insurance company is going to come thru for me. My left side case got crunched by an ***** cage driver and I've argued that the cases are a matched set and need to be replaced as a set.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from the appraiser ...

Unlike my deal with Allen today, I am Prob not going to drive up and grab it if it becomes available It was about 12 hours from the time Allen and I started a conversation about the slip ons to we met in Indy for the deal. But hey, u never know. That warrant in Canada has probably expired by now!!! Lol.

Just noticed that u have a new Gen 3. Mine is an 04 not 14. And I have not researched if the bags are interchangeable.

The side case that I'll have spare is off my old, now my wife's 2009 FJR. I'm almost certain that the cases are interchangeable across all three Gens. Perhaps others with more experience with moving cases from Gen to Gen can confirm ...

At any rate, like I said the case that I'll spare is off a 2009 Gen II.

My 2014 ES is still pristine, safely stored in my garage with 5 kms on the odometer, waiting for the current ice age here in Calgary to recede.

Thanks for the offers on the pipe, I should have ended the thread because I was able to pick up a set of slip ons. Still looking for the tailpiece, but that is not a huge rush. The damage is very slight. Thanks again for the offers.

I actually had tha thought of offering up my undamaged left side pipe and the dented right side to anyone on the board. The board has been great to me, I would be happy to help someone out with what I have. Pm me if anyone wants what I have.
