A few years ago I was seriously looking into building a Cobra replica. This looks like even more fun to drive and probably easier to build. I wonder what my insurance lady would say if I walked in there and asked her to add it to my policy....

FWIW, they are now making those in Ashland, Oregon, by Brammo Motorsports. They are screwing around with an electric jobbie that's 'posed to be the nuts.

I've seen a couple on the road (hmm, both on Angeles Crest Highway) and stopped. The workmanship looks better in person than the photos can show. There was a recent article on them (sort of) in C16 magazine. If you've seen the Top Gear episode you'll know what I mean when I say, I want to be an alien!

To me they look so much better than a Lotus Super 7 or Caterham equivalent.

The hot motor used to be the K20-series Honda/Acura motor (as in the RSX-S) with or without forced induction. But I hear GM's EcoTec is becoming the motor du jour.
