Well Yesterday I started out at 4:00am from Lancaster PA (rt30 & rt 340) after Kolonial72 came to my aid & signed my witness form at Toms gas station. Well the weather was good BUT it had rained earlier & the roads down in Maryland were still wet & was getting spray from cars until i hit Virginia (on rt95). First stop was at Love`s truck stop in Ruther Glen VA at 214mi`s & put 5 gallons of fuel in (last bar just started flashing). Rode down past Richmond to Petersburg & turn right onto rt85 where i ran down into NC & stopped again in Mebane NC at 214 mi`s & added 5 gallons again (starting to see a pattern) I was able to go the rest of the way to my turn around spot in Bessemer city NC (553mi`s)so more fuel & I couldn`t help myself as the bike just ran so good . I made it back to Middleburg NC for fuel (yes 5 gallons :glare: ) When i just rode into VA it poured rain all the way to Petersburg VA (got passed by a R1200RT ) From there i made it to Fredericksburg VA for more fuel (yup 5 gallons) after a few (i can do this) i got back on the road & made it to my last stop (rt340 & rt30 Toms in Lancaster PA) I had my wife meet me & sign my witness form & took some pics.
On a side note, i did stop at rest stops & refilled my camel back & ate some breakfast bars for meals. I did 1,106mi`s total (GPS miles, not ODO) in 19 hours & 45 min & did 42.8mi`s per gallon. As for seats my Sargent seat was a little better than my stocker but at the 900mi mark, my butt was just about done  as the last 200mi`s or so was pure torture  (guess i`ll be in for a group buy for a Russel this winter.
