I just got off the Phone with Tom He was in Alabama headed for TN. Baggin Points.

He was hit by one of those nasty *** forest Rats in West Virginia. He says it nailed him right at the Skyway Hydration unit and bounced off. He did not go down or even get hurt. :yahoo: I will have a new cooler for his hydration unit for him because the deer did break his lid and in Toms words" left a bunch of deer snot on his bike"

So I guess now Ian can market the hydration systemn as deer protection!!

Anybody ever tried mounting one of those dear alarm/whistle thingy's or what ever they are called somewhere farkle-like to avoid that type of thing. It occurred to me the other morning on my way to work as a big *** Doe ran accross the highway a ways up in front of me. I would try it myself but the deer around here are probably stupid enough to come runnin out to see what that groovy noise is....besides I might never see another deer again while I was out riding , how would I know if it was working.

Or maybe we could get one of our farkle masters to fashion up a mount for a .50 cal or something cool like that. Packs alot of punch.

Most studies show that deer whistles don't make a difference, though some still use them. I, on the other hand, mounted an elephant whistle on my bike. I KNOW it works because I've never had any elephants run out in front of me yet.
