Just came across this website with incredible film of adventure ride in winter through Canada up to the Arc. Cir. and back.

Amazing professinal quality footage. 30 below riding !!!! Wildlife galore. Set the video res. to 720 and use Full Screen. You won't be able to tear yourself away.

Awesome!!!!! Thx for posting
Sure. Glad you enjoyed it. Extreme riding I'm not sure I want to aspire to.

Hey, Kincardine, is that up near Owen Sound? My first riding trips were up that way on a 450 Honda back in the 60's. Camping at the Pinery, with my wife, 2 sleeping bags and a toothbrush. And there was some crazy town named after a military guy named Tiger-something.

Yes....that is the place. Not sure about the town named Tiger-something.... just south of the Pinery park is a place called Ipperwash , but the military are no longer there. The native americans in the area laid claim to the land and the rest is history..... Small world eh?

A couple synapses reconnected and I recalled, it wasn't a town named after this Tiger guy, it was a huge memorial plaque I recalled, I think in Goderich. It was to Tiger Dunlop. Not sure of my Canadian history, but I looked it up. He was quite a historical figure.

Oh and I remember Ipperwash. I camped there too. It was quite a bit smaller than the Pinery. Even though we were from Detroit, we prefered traveling and camping in Ontario. The people were nicer and the campgrounds were way superior to Michigan's.

Anyhow, this has been a little trip down memory lane for me. Thanks.

Take care.
