Darn, I bought mine in August. Garmin said that it was a continuing model but this rebate makes me think they are closing them out. I do like the unit but would have liked the $200.

It means nothing. They've had rebates before.

But word on the street is that there will be a replacement - I just think this is an inventory reduction incentive for now. Next summer for the new model.
