Ignition switch removal

I need to remove the ignition switch from the triple clamp but not quite sure how. Any pointers? They appear to be riveted in for security purposes.

They are screws, with the heads broken off for security. You need to drill the remainder of the heads off and replace with new when you reinstall.

Ahh gotcha, that's kind of what I figured so I'll just use a set of left hand drill bits or extractors then. I don't need to replace it so no biggie there, just need to take it off of the triple clamp and sell the triple clamp.

Once both heads of the bolts are gone, you can pull off/out the switch and spin the bolts out with a vise grip/pliers...
