Just a short note to say I've moved up from my 2006 FJR will 135K+ miles. Got me a new 2014 FJR1300ES. Very cool bike and I'm having fun. More to come as I put miles on the new toy.

Congrats on the new ride! Lucky you that riding is available all year in So. Cal. Enjoy!

Congrats Marty!

I was up on Ortega at THE LOOKOUT this afternoon, chatting with some local guys and riding it for awhile.

What did you do with your 06??

Sold my 2006 to my Nephew for a very good price. It's still running strong. I'm sure he will make 200K with it.

Hey, neighbor - congratulations on the new ride.

With temps near 80* the next few days... Enjoy!

I feel bad for the guys back east. I've put 600 miles on my new bike this week. Man, I like this bike.

Thank for the kind words and congratulations.

Congratulations! I have just over 3000 miles on my 2014 ES. Only issue I've had is with intermittent cruise control failing to set. Have finally isolated to the brake lever switch sticking in the on position even when I've released the lever. Working with the dealership to get fixed.

Otherwise, I'm loving the ride and suspension adjustments. A big step up from my 2005 FJR.

Any issues with yours?

Only one slight issue and I caused it. It was deja vu as I did this way back on my 06 also. Trying to adjust the rear brake pedel lower, caused the brake light to stay on and the cruise control not to work. Got this figured out and I can't find anything wrong with the bike. I'm posting an update on my first 1700 miles tonight. Love this bike.

I am sorry but you are in violation of the rules of this forum to say that there is a better bike than a Gen I. I am quite sure that one of the Gen I Lovers will be along shortly to send you a hate post.
