I'm officially an FJR owner!

Just got back from my maiden voyage coming from the bike shop on my new to me 2014 FJR.

First observations after 24 years of not riding:

The front shocks are stiffer than I remember the ST1100 being. Maybe the rake angle is different or something but I don't remember the ST hitting bumps so hard.

Other than that, it all came back within minutes of taking off. I LOVE this bike. More than enough power for me. Quick. Overall beautiful piece of machinery.

I've got a lot of learning and re-learning to do, but I'm on cloud nine with this!

You likely need to adjust the forks. I found the FJR to be the smoothest bike I ever rode.

Since you have an ES model, you can make the front as soft as you like. You have the best color, in my opinion, though some crawfish eating fishermen will deny that.
