I also noticed 3 different windshields, one that looks almost like a yamaha boulevard I used on my vstar, the tall narrow one, and one that has a lip. Anyone noticed that?

The windshield with the lip looks like the one that's made in Australia. IIRC, some of the Ozzie owners have posted pictures of it. Maybe Thug can comment.

The screen with the lip looks like it could be an 'Eagle Screen' from here. Also, the white one looks to have Staintune slipons, but I can't pick the brand on the blue (CF cans). Also from a few different years, as there are two with the old style indicators, and at least with a disabled windscreen retract :D

I like it! Any chance it will be at WFO? :)
Hi Guys, I live in Japan, Tokyo to be precise. I can confirm the following:

1. all the domestic market bikes are speed limited to 190kph, hence people tend to buy the export models. My new ’06 FJR is not limited, at least not to 190, I’ve had it up to 250kph thus far 

2. the ’06 FJR available (order basis) in Japan is the Euro Spec, either S. Africa, Australia, and other metric countries, so the color schemes available to the Japanese market are the same as to the European market

3. that is in deed Mt. Fuji in the background - some really nice riding to be had “in them there hills” ;)

4. there are not too many FJRs in and around Tokyo, so this is likely a pretty small club

5. blue lights are not illegal over here, actually just about any kind of lights are generally ok, you just need to remove them for the bi-annual registration inspection (called shaken) then just put all the custom stuff right back on 

6. the tariffs are generally not too different b/w the bigger bikes and the smaller ones, the real difference is for anything 250cc or less, since these do not need the shaken and some other costs are not applicable either

7. the price for an ’06 FJR in Japan is around 1.6 million yen, plus 5% tax and on the road costs

I am generally not a big fan of white, but have to admit it looks pretty good on the FJR.

zzkenoman, could you please let me know where you found these pictures, I would really like to get in touch with these guys to see if I can join their FJR club.
