I wouldn't have thought it, but the feej looks cool in white.

Is that Mt. Fuji in the background of the first pic?

Yep, Looks cool, I like it and the blue lights, I bet people get out of the way of that jet flying toward them from the rear!

I don't think those are domestic FJRs. Can't be sure...don't read Japanese...but I can't find the FJR anywhere on Yamaha's Japanese home website, https://www.yamaha-motor.jp. Doesn't Japan have a horribly painful and expense domestic tariff on bikes over a certain displacement, and an outright ban on ultra-horsepower bikes?

I'm liking the white...could do without the blue lights though.

I think it would look really good on the new 06 given the clear trun signal lenses and the over-all more angular lines of the bike.

I'd say its just a one off custom paint job thats just damn sweet :dribble:

And I'm not sure what the cut off point is in Japan but I think there is a "gentlemans' agreemant" between the manufacturers and the gov to keep the tops speed limited under a certain point cus if i'm not mistaken no big production bikes hit the 200mph area like the Busa used to. On a side note they also have an agreemant with the Auto manufacturers over there to limit Bhp to 276 if i'm not mistaken. I know its either 276 or 296 hence almost all the Jap spec high power sportcars like the STI, Lancer EVO, Skyline and others all come rated at almost the exact level. Although some of those cars when put on the DYNO actually make low 300s even though they "shouldn't be"

And yes there are tariffs or taxes over there on cars atleast that are based on your vehicles overall size and displacement. Hence the reason you don't see Japanese manufacturers making big displacement V8's and instead throw in an engine 1/2 the size and strap on a couple turbos. So generally you can easily spot the extremely rich over there cus they'll be driving Corvettes and big *** Escalades...lol

Nice group of bikes...........

Bet they had a lot of fun following the white stallion....

A question for those in the know:

wow! I wonder where the Japanese are getting those FJR's from?

I thought the only thing that Yamama sold over there was the XJR1300 (for something

like over a million yen!) which is a naked version of our cutie...

Could they be importing those things from Australia?

Yes I like to....

In the first picture of the bike (tail end) It appears it has a fender extender for the rear. I wonder if is a one of a kind or someone is making them.

Anymore information on this white knight?
