Hello Everyone...

This is cool ride and I so far I’ve got an FJR ( Jeff ) and a V-Strom rider (Woody) possibly a ST1300 rider ( depending on a kitchen pass... LOL ) . We're going to be heading up Hwy 1 to Lompoc and up Harris Grade to San Antonio Rd to Casmalia Rd to Black Rd and over to Jacks for lunch or maybe BBQ close by in Guadalupe. Then it’s the back roads over to Foxen Cyn to 154 and home.

Jdog, (FJR 1300 camera bike setup ) aka Jeff, came up with the breakfast meeting spot. He will be filming this ride. We will meet at 7-7:15. We will be leaving at 8:00 AM. This will be a fun ride. Hope to see some of you folks there.

DRESS WARM...!!!

OK, I'm curious? I've never been to Jack's!

I think I'll ride south and be there around noon, just for giggles. Maybe I'll meet up with Y'all?

Freakin' damnit all to hell and back. I'm booked. Would love to meet wit ya'll tho. I guess that's the beauty and backside of impromptu rides. Have a great great one and really sorry I can't join ya'll. Be prepared for cold though.. I'm in my computer room and it's chiilllyy.. The wood burning stove is not making real progress yet.. So bring your warm undies and such..

OK sleepy heads... It's time to wake up and go play.... No wuss's here... It's only 35 degrees here and a warm 41 in Ventura.... Wind is not blowing too much here. See everyone at breakfast...

Richard -

Thanks for waiting for me for lunch in Orcutt. It was nice meeting and riding a short distance with everybody. I had the shortest ride of the day, but combined it with a shoe shopping expedition at the mall. Anyway, here's the only pic I took today! Can't wait to see J-Dog's newest video.

I dressed warm so everything was cool. We had a great ride today. Starting with a breakfast meeting at the Cafe Nouveau, Woody, Jeff (jdog), Gary, Jeff (wjbertrand) from the ST1300 forum, and I showed up. Great breakfast and the syrup is killer!!! It warmed up to about 42-44 by the time we left. The sun was shining as we headed up the coast it was crystal clear and beautiful. We ran 154 to Stagecoach Rd to warm the tires up on some twisties, back onto 154 and out to Bueliton. Gassed up and ran Santa Rosa Rd to the 1 north and a pit stop at the local Honda dealer in Lompoc. As we are pulling into the parking lot there is Bob ( BluByU ) from the ST1300 forum, standing there hanging out. He text msg'd me earlier but my phone was in my trunk. Anyway, Bob joined us and we ran Harris Grade. Almost turned around to do it again but decided there was too much traffic.. Next time.. Real fun road. Stopped in Casmalia and then headed for Kay's Country Kitchen. George ( Khunajawdge) from the FJR forum pulled up and we all had a good lunch. Afterward lunch we headed for Guadalupe beach and hung out for a little bit. It was starting to get late and cold so we decided to do the Foxen Cyn ride another time and hit the 101 back home. Bob and George peeled off and the rest of us grabbed a handful and made short work of the freeway home. We stopped at the Paradise Store for a break. They had a fire going in the BBQ pit out back which was perfect for us to warm up. We headed out again everybody else peeled off in Ventura and I continued back home to Chatsworth. 355 fun filled miles for me today.

Jdog-Jeff was doing a video of the ride today so I will post a link when he is finished with it.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the ride today.

Sorry... Can't make it Tuesday... You know you're getting older when you go to the motorcycle museum and you're looking at bikes you used to ride years ago... LOL... enjoy...
