Well, I think it's new tire time.

I have a set of Metz Roadtec which dealer installed on my 04' when I purchased ''new to me" last year.

The tires have 10k miles now, Rear looks like real good thread on outside, of course center wear is about 2 inches across on. Front not so bad, looks pretty good.

Now I gotta spend days searching the forum threads about which tire will be the best.

In the past, I have found that the Cycle Gear sales are ok at best. I can always get tires somewhere else cheaper. Sometimes significantly. But then I change my own tires. Still, you still might be better off to buy your tires elsewhere (There have been great deals on Michelin PR2s posted recently) and have either Cycle Gear or another shop install them. Worth checking out.
