If anybody ever figures out what drives insurance prices - LET ME KNOW.

It's all over the place and makes no sense at all regardless of sportbike, cc's - whatever.

Credit Rating is excellent - no speeding tickets (well... within the last three yrs) - 56 yrs old - 2003 FJR

Progressive - $350 / yr (Geico wanted $480)

I get the Triumph Daytona, now, for $105 with Mutual, but have had the policy ever since I bought the bike. My first premuim then was $45 / yr... Ah - the good old days!!!

Just goes to show you!. $1400 per year for just minimal coverage. California sucks. 61 years old, no tickets on record (yet). I just looked at Progressive Direct :
Last Chance, give Foremost a call,(1-800-527-3905) they have been giving me good prices for 2 years. I have also had good luck with GMAC insurance on a motorcycle.

Thanks, Skyway. Oh, I have a "professional" question for you. A special order. Do you do "special orders"?

I heard AAA is a pretty good deal from Madmike...I'm gonna check them out
Thanks also OrangevaleFJR. I'll check into them also. I wonder if they would insure just the motorcycle?

However Wednesday, I have to pay my debt to society. My trial should be a speedy one, with the outcome very unpleasant. Changing insurance companies might become difficult! :dribble:    :(
