A lot was said at the WFO banquets about the integrity and class of the WFO attendees and FJR riders as a whole. Well, I can vouch for that!
Like a dumb ***, I set my wallet down at the breakfast table on Saturday morning, got up and walked off. Immediately, Mrs Ric-in-Sac, who was seated nearby, came running over with it, yelling my name. Much thanks, Karen.
Then, that evening back in the room around 10:30, I couldn't find my wallet. Looked in ALL my stuff, didn't have it. Starting to panic, 2500 miles from home and no money, credit cards, license, gun permit...anything. Had a full tank of gas.....I hightailed it over to the front counter and asked if anyone had turned in a wallet. She asked my name and headed for the back office. Holy crap! Someone must have turned it in. She came out with it, said someone found it in the bar. Cripes, I was only in there a minute to see if Geezer was there. Don't even recall taking it out of my pocket. Couldn't blame it on the beer that night.
I just knew all the money would be there, not that there was that much. I'm guessing that since there were so many FJR people there that probably one of us found it and I knew would all be there. It was.
DUMB ***!!!!! Losing it once, well it happens. Losing it twice in one day???????? DUMB ***!!!!!
All I can say is "Thanks so much"...I can only imagine the hassle of losing it. You guys and gals are the GREATEST!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
