Has anyone tried using their iPhone while riding to answer calls. Is there too much wind/noise to have the person hear you through the head phonemic? Do you know of a pair of in ear headphones that might work.

Have you heard of these???

Thanks for any tips,

I use an IPhone thru a Zumo and an Autocom and it works fine with a Schuberth S1 helmet.

Not an iPhone, but I use my phone with a Scala Rider headset -- sometimes through the zumo, sometimes paired directly. I've been going 80 on the freeway and the other person didn't know I was on the bike.

Try the Iphone noise isolating adapter made by Shure. It gives you all of the functions of the factory earbud switch but allows you to use quality aftermarket earbuds.

BTW, the Shure noise isolating earbuds are excellent. I have used it at highway speeds and it works quite well.

Many Apple stores carry this adapter as well.

The Autocom processes all devices great. Just need to get the right cables and isolate some of the devices. There are stereo and mono with the Autocom. I use custom molded ear plugs by Big Ear. Everything works well. it just takes some adjustments for the voice activation between rider and passenger intercom.
