what's your opinion?
Only if you have to go 60 to 0 in less space than it took you to go 0 to 60... :dribble:what's your opinion?
Come on Mike, your middle name isn't "Hooligan" for nothing.... :lol:hasn't hurt mine yet.. Not that I have done it or anything like that...
And that's why I bought one with ABS. I tend to push things a bit too.Thank God for the brakes on this bike. I wouldn't have been able to stop in time if I had been on the Wing. ABS engaged on both wheels and I just about stood the FJR on it's nose. Somehow I managed to get it hauled down and stopped a few feet short of the truck. It definitely was an eye opening experience.
Ah ha! Truth revealed as to your pillionlessness status...Back to topic: I don't recommend hard twists of the right grip in first gear while two-up. Take my word for it.
Granted, I know I put myself in that position by attempting to sqeeze in on the yellow light. It is one thing to have to stop quickly, but it is quite another to have to go from hard accelleration to hard braking in an instant, and the added velocity only increases your stopping distance.
Food for thought....
And then you shift into 2nd, and......ultimately 3rd or 4th. Your problem with all of this would be what, exactly?what's your opinion?
Is it bad to go 102 mph on the quarter mile with an FJR?
