I tend to think people generally like talking about their bikes, so renewed questions that are not necessarily pointless or recurring I think are OK....

What new format? I see you've been here for a couple months. Lurker before that? sorry, just can't tell. I'm hardly a newbie on the forum, but not on all that often. so yeah, i miss ****.

banned for being a newbie? haven't seen that. but again, see point above, maybe i missed it in transit.....

Tough to search for things. I do try, it isn't always so easy to get some basics. oh well. life goes on. bigger **** to worry about. I do think this is a great site for info or help. At least that's what I've gotten so far.... some of the 'old timers' can be a bit interesting, but once you get into the groove of who is who and who does what, it's pretty chill.

1) You'd have to understand Bustanutv joker's brand of humor, and that takes time. Then this posting could have been seen from a "humorous" point of view rather than as an indictment.

2) One should realize that Steve was probably "on the sauce" (or needed to be) and should have stepped away from the keyboard.

3) Nobody here thinks they have all the answers. And if they do, it doesn't take long before THEY need "more information". That's just part of the human condition we are all subject to: pride, ego, etc., etc.

4) Yep, sometimes we get a little "full of ourselves" and forget what it was like when WE were new to the FJR or to our first new bike. And yes, the "Frat-house Comedy" unnecessarily fills some threads. That's what happens in a group like this.

5) Too bad you don't visit here more often. You might get to know some of us better and we'd get to know you. That could be a win-win situation for everyone concerned (forget those not concerned).

6) The "NEW" format? It is a direct copy of the "OLD" format in the Green Room, as Travis designed it to upgrade from the problems with EZ-board and offered the venue to Mark. So I don't understand, if that's the issue.

You wouldn't, by chance, be the owner some of us met, lat year, in Alturas, CA and Burns, OR while on our way through Idaho to WFO in PRak City, UT, would you?
