The topic for EOM says " EOM V", which I took to mean the 5th EOM. Is this correct? Hasn't the fjr only been in the states for 4 years now?

I do believe that in all actuality this is the 4th annual. I am assuming that EOM 05 is stating the year. I too looked at this & did a double take.
I'm pretty sure that there hasn't been a bi-annual meet, either... but I wasn't there & I'm just guessing, too. I think that as soon as the '03's started coming out they had a meet... then one later in the year b4 the '04's were delivered, one for the '04's & now it's the '05's turn.

Had my 2003 in 2002, but too late for the first eom held in NY so I rode to Smokey Mountains via BRP/SLD and found heavy rain.
2003 found the 2nd annual EOM in VA and hurricane Isabel wiped out SLD and flooded a lot of our roads (we still had a great time). On the ride down I found the fjr magnetic tank bag will leave the tank with 55mph crosswinds and if you don't knee the bag back quick enough it can (and did) hit the kill switch.
2004 and the 3rd annual eom in TN and hurricane Ivan chased me back up SLD and flooded me in PA
2005 finds our 4th annual eom with no chance of a nasty hurricane starting with the letter I. That one is long gone now.

Thanks for the history Mr. Bill. I knew that it went something like that. I didn't know that EOM 1 was held in NY, though.
I am hoping for nice weather this year. I know that I got spooked by last year's Hurricane Ivan. My friend Jeff, who I was to ride with, went anyway, told me he rode through rain all the way out... but was AWESOME beyond that.
I am so looking forward to the 4th Annual EOM & talking with all of the Feejer-ites.

EOM # 1 was held at Bear Mountain State Park on Nov. 21st, '02.
approx. 12 riders showed up.
This year's event will be the fourth so far. And I won't be there again! :russian:

Wifey is recovering well and seems on course to make a full recovery in a few weeks.
Hope to open up "el *******o" this weekend...I'll take photos...I'll probably be looking for forum asistance to answer questions as I try to trouble shoot this bugger.
