My seats have been gone for 2 weeks and I could stand it no longer. :dribble:

Folded towels worked just fine for 15 desperate miles today! I am running a white bath towel for basic support, with a fluffy blue beach towel on top for some cushioning. The seating position is a little low and I am thinking of adding one of those air seats - both for comfort and to increase the ride height.

I felt your pain when I was in the Russell group buy.

Check out my solution: Home built seat.

Got plenty of offers for other's to lend me their unused stock seat. But this worked out well for me...and cost me nothing but an hour.

Impressive...if mine wasn't in the mail back to me, that would be my next step. As for myself, right now I am heading to the garage with a couple of bath mats for my pillion.

LOL! My first ever ride on the front of my FJR involved sitting on a beat up old, decorative pillow that was fixed on with duct tape. DH was worried about me getting used to the vastly different ride, while not being able to touch the floor. For once in my life, I was able to flat foot an FJR. The stock seat was a lot higher, but not much more comfortable than the pillow. I've done the rest of my 20K miles on a Bill Mayer seat.
