The Opportunity: IT Manager III

Grade: 8

Salary Range: Min $66,980 Mid $78,800 Max $90,610

Reports to: Director of Finance

Unit Summary: This position is located at Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is located approx. 2 hours from Fresno, CA. The park is a major tourist destination with 4 lodging facilities, 7 main food & beverage operations, 21 stores and numerous recreational activities.

Your Role: Responsible for overseeing all functional activities of technical staff in one of the following areas: Field Systems, IT Projects, IT Technical Training, Emerging Technologies, and Customer Support Services. Provides feasibility studies and related analysis of perspective projects. Responsible for meeting budget goals and objectives. Provides input and policy direction regarding standards, budget constraints, etc. Makes staffing decisions. Assigns staff to projects and directs their activities. Provide timely communication, verbal and / or written, on all matters relating to I.T. to varying levels of management.

Our Expectations: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years relevant work and management experience. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Working knowledge of major systems as follows; e.g. SMS Springer-Miller Systems for Reservations/Lodging, Newmarket International Delphi MPE for Groups, Retail Pro for POS Point of Sale, Kronos Time Gathering, Champs for CMMS – or comparable systems.
