IMO - the riding around Deals Gap cannot be fully experienced in one trip. I've been there 5 times and quite frankly, I'd leave tomorrow for #6 if I had the time and money. I was so amped up about the experience for my first trip, and then concentrated SOOOOOO much on my riding for my first run through those incredible roads, to be honest, I missed out on a lot of the sights. Back then, I was over planning my bike tours - trying to get as much riding into the tour as possible. The truth is - no one can experience all of those roads in one trip. And it doesn't really matter which ones you pick - they are all good.

Although I've been there in the Spring and the Fall, I like the Fall time ride in the Appalachians the best.
