Well, after 11 months of down time due to a failure of the shift drum inside the transmission, my R1 was put back in service. Today a friend of mine and I rode my R1 and the FJR to our Sunday morning coffee spot. It was great to be able to ride the R1 again, and to ride it back to back the FJR.
