What I want to do is to put my passport 8500 radar & Laser dectector inside the highlights. That way, they'd be secure,hidden and I'd have top notch reception.......anyone know if it's possible to get inside of em..

That would require some sirius modification

My gut feeling is it would be too hot and severly shorten the life of your detector.
