Who would have thought you could 3D print wood?

Had a little arts & craft project with my son. Sanded it, stained it, and added a little paint. Stuff smells like sawdust while it is printing. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Seemed like the perfect test of my new wood filament.

Apparently if you have a 3D printer you don't need Viagra, you can just print one when you need "it".

The head was about 6 hours and the body was nearly 14 hours. Print time really depends on the amount of infill and the layer height. This was printed at 0.2mm layer height but I can go down to 0.05mm. It would just take 4x longer. I figured the lower detail was actually desirable for the wood look.
