Wondering if anyone on here has tried to utilize the SENA SR 10 to connect the J&M 2003 CB to their SENA 20S of other SENA bluetooth helmet devices? I utilize both the J&M CB and 20S and would like to eliminate the wire connection to my helmet I currently require for the J&M CB.

I did this with my Sena 10U and my starcom. It works good other than the fact that everything that comes from the starcom is mono. That's fine for me because the only thing I use the starcom for is the intercom and connecting a CB radio which are mono anyway.

Sorry that doesn't answer your "specific" question but it can be done as long as J&M makes a Bluetooth dongle that will connect to their system.

Thanks for your response Rich. I'm not certain but I don't believe J&M have a bluetooth dongle that connects with their 2003 CB unit. I may have to try to do some research on the J&M wiring and see if there is a way to feed the speaker and mic wiring in the headset cord to the SR10.

they do make a bluetooth dongle for the older J&M radios. But you also need the B adaptor for the older radios.

Don't know if it will pair up, but it should. Call them

Looking into that bluetooth dongle a bit more, I believe it is essentially a way to input music, etc INTO the J&M CB from bluetooth enabled systems such as smart phones. What I want to do is have a way to use the SENA bluetooth helmet system control the the audio of the J&M to there by eliminate the corded J&M headset.

+1 ran out out likes today...

The headset plug on the starcom is a pretty common plug (5 pin Din I think). I don't know if the J&M plug is the same. If it is then the starcom Wire3 is what you want and it should work. Just check and see if they have the same plug.

I have a Starcom unit sitting on the shelf. I'll check for compatibility. I do know that the J&M uses DIN connectors as well. Thanks for the tip. Will see if it might work and if not perhaps an adapter will do the job.
