presently installing a J&M radio on my '05 FJR.

thought I'd check here berfore I started drilling holes in the plastic;

anyone tharts done this; do you drill holes for helmet and antenna cable or just feed in thru the gap between seat and bodywork?

also, did u remove the tank to do wire routing?

thx

I put a J+M on my '06 shouldn't be that different. No holes were drilled in the plastic, ran the wiring under the tank. The output plug sticks out between the seat and the tank. Position the plug off to one side or you'll be singing an octave higher :eek:

no holes, even ran the wires tucking along/under the tank and behind the panels on the left side before learning how to prop up the tank. Headset connector wire runs up the stearing head to the bars and wire tied to the right bar.

I use a Harley bracket modified and attached using the mirror hole on the clutch clamp
