j&m handle bar mounted cb

does anyone have experiance installing the j&m handle bar mounted cb. how do access the battery and run the wiring? must i remove a great deal of the body work? is there anything i must be carefull of?

I had the J & M CB on my 05ABS before a get-off. I also had the intergration module for the other sound inputs. There is a terrific amount of wires that come with the intergration module-looks like an octopus with all the wiring. I ended up sliding the module inside the left faring under the glovebox. J & M suggests connecting the power wires to the tail light which is what I did with no ill effects even though I had a barrier strip. I was able to figure out how to run the wires around & over things pretty well. Once you start it pretty much becomes clear what to do. I will put the unit back on my replacement bike. Best of luck.
