J&M / Zumo Installation

I am about to pull the trigger on a J&M cb and zumo. A couple of questions though- My 05 has heated grips. Will the J&M unit fit with the heated grip controller on the left or will that be a problem? Also, not having owned a gps unit before, will the zumo connect directly to the cb and work well? Thanks,

I'm not sure about the heated grip controler but I have the J&M and Zumo and yes the J&M plugs directly into the Zumo.The music is real clear and lots of volume.The voice prompts From the Zumo are clear through the J&M. Hope this helps.
