I'm thinking about buying the JR Ballistic 7.0 jacket and I see that is waterproof but not breathable. I use a mesh jacket in the warm weather so I'm looking at the JR just for early and late season riding.

Has anyone experienced sweat/moisture buildup inside this jacket while riding in colder weather?

I have a Ballistic 6.0. It is definitely not a summer jacket. It is waterproof and warm; it has a rain liner / barrier and the vents only allow airflow between the outer shell and inner liner. It's a great fall / winter / early spring jacket. Anything about 70-75 degrees and you're sweating. I like mine, but have a mesh jacket for summer time.

I've had a JR 7.0 for a year now, and it's a great jacket, but as extrememarine said regarding the 6.0, it is definitly not a summer jacket, although it is the only one I have and have worn it in 100+ temps. It does have a neat front vent set up, which helps a lot, but I am actively looking for a summer mesh jacket.

For a mesh jacket, I went with this and am very happy
