Hello All,
I just wanted you to know about an upcoming ride. Since last year, I have wanted to make a pilgrimage to visit Chris/TheAxeman and pay my respects to Jordan.
I have talked to Chris, and he has agreed to let me and other FJR Riders come up for a visit on the weekend of the 16/17th of May. Coincidentally, May 16th happens to be Armed Forces Day.
I am not an LD rider...I usually like to ride 400-450 miles a day. But on this ride I will be doing much more than that. Griff has volunteered to ride with me.
The following is a rough itinerary...
1) riding from Wheaton to some place in far eastern PA on a Friday,
2) get up at O' dark thirty Saturday morning and ride through NY city and then the couple hours to meet Chris at his place in Sag Harbor. We'd spend the time however Chris wishes...going to pay respects at Jordan's marker, going to see the Bridge...riding anywhere Chris wishes...buying Chris a beer...just kind of getting a chance to meet.,
3) Sunday...riding or going anywhere Chris wishes...maybe NH or MA or whereever Chris wants even if it is just still on Long Island. Does not have to be twisties.
4) Monday, riding home to Wheaton starting back at O' dark thirty.
Nothing fancy...just a time to pay respects, visit with Chris and ride.

...oh yeah...Chris says to bring yer own beer.
