I figured the humor would not escape you, but I really need to know 2 things please. 1) how much fluid does my final drive hold on a 2007 FJR? and 2) where can I get a shop manual?

A couple ounces. Maybe 4. A qt of gear oil lasts me at least 4 yrs.

Check ebay, etc., you might get lucky. From my personal experience an '06 manual works just fine for an '07 bike

. The only authorized manuals are sold from Yamaha, copyright infringement abounds with cd's.

guys thanks for the help! and Hashtag is a twitter reference, a couple just named their kid Hashtag the other day. like us naming our kids FJR...

+1 At least some of the service procedures described in the FSM are waaaay over-complicated, directing you to remove stuff you really don't need to remove, to do simple procedures such as service the front forks, or remove the radiator. The FJR is really a pretty easy bike to work on.

I got myself a manual a while back, figuring I'd need it to work on the FJR. Can honestly say that everything I needed to know is already on this forum... I really haven't needed the manual. Might wanna save yourself the money. This forum's got everything you'll need.
