But in a moment of forum frenzy, while replying to a buddy's message, I referred to her as "Cherie". It has stuck!

yep Jim is correct. My dear or darling en francais. Also my middle name, although a nurse botched the spelling while putting it right on the birth certificate. So I'm Michelle Charree instead of Michelle Cherie. Mommy is still mad about that one! Nice choice Jeff!!

Sorry about the name misspelling. Nurse left one "L" off my youngest daughter's middle name. Caught it months later. And when your last name is ASHE, well, spelling becomes important.
