I just picked up my 07 FJR....Its been sitting so I am doing some work on it as I posted in the technical discussion threads....I think I got a good deal. Clean title, never been down with 11k miles. Its been heavily farkeled with the following:

Russel dual leather day long seat and custom cover

Upper tripple clap replacement bar riser kit

fork brace

cal sci windshield

painted to match V45 top case and rack

bag liners

caliper mounted moto lights

heated grips with BMW grips

FJR above gauge shelf

Big mac tank bag

power comander 3

power outlet on dash

datel volt meter

throttle locker

3 piece tank pad kit

Works custom rear shock

not certain but I think it has the racetech gold valves in the fork too...but I need to clariy that one

I just put in a new Yuasa battery today and got it running....Its actually running on 3 year old gas....LOL....I am about to go through the bike. I got the bike for 4k dollars so I think its a steal with everything on it...I will have new tires and battery added to that tally but I buy tires online and install them myself. Now I just need to add my new in box Garmin Zumo 665 and XM antenna and I will be set...for now at least.Pics will be posted once I get done going through ti and wash off all the dust. Looking forward to many miles on this bike.

Ride it like you stole it, because you did. :)

But I don't see no pictures .......
I need to get some stuff done before I post pictures....its up on my motorcycle lift in the garage right now.....
Gunny wFooShee!
Well hurry up! You don't go and tell us of your stealing this bike and show no pix.

Bloody thief... <_<

Enjoy that bad boy! :yahoo: ;) :D

Lol..I forgot about some of the other things like the hyperlite brake flashers, dual helmet lock around the license plate and the headlight protectors...I have a brand new Zumo 665 I am going to put on.....then it's iron but time....lol

Wow! Stole it is right! Where (how) did you find it?

Congrats on the new FJR and welcome to the nuthouse.

Funny, same thing happened to me. Told my wife to iron, but she said "do it yourself."

Can't believe the deal you got, tho.

edit: didn't even notice you're a local. Watch the Cali ride planning section. Lot of us around here and we like to get out and ride now and again.

I am thinking he stole it. Look at where he lives. Maybe he is an inmate, or was, or should be. :yahoo:

Its actually a long sstory as to how I got this deal. I know the seller (second owner) and the original owner that did all the mods to the bike. The seller bought it from a die hard rider who sold it becasue he wanted to go back to a BMW RT. The second owner never rode and let it sit in the garage to collect dust. I was actually going to buy it a year and a half ago but it wouldnt start with a new battery. Anyway, I passed on buying it and it has sat in the garage since. I contacted the guy and made him the offer of 4k knowing it needed more than a battery to get started. He accepted it. I got the bike home and put in a new battery but this time after some heavy crankinging it came to life. I think the issue was that the accesory wires going to battery didnt get hooked up the firt time and one of those was the power commander. But I did get an amazing deal on this bike. It has atleast 4k+ in mods, only 11k miles and not a scratch on it. I cant wait to get it on the road. Going to order new tires today, some PR3's...I had those on my K1200GT and I liked them.

Okay, you guys wanted pictures...so, heres a few, but its still very filthy.....and the cases are off becasue its on my lift

Dunno what made it not start before, but it wasn't a Power Commander connection. PC gets its power from the fuel harness wiring where it taps in. Its only "external" connector is a ground wire.

(Assumptions made about Gen-I/Gen-II similarities here. I know this to be the case on Gen-I. I think it's the case on Gen-II)

Put about a half a can of Seafoam in the first few tanks of gas to clean the works from the inside.

Nice bike but the seat is kinda ugly. I can help you out by swapping you for the stock one I have here.
Lol.....sure....I'll get right on ...lol...

I am a huge fan of Russell day long seats...the only seat I can ride on all day without fatigue. This is going to be my third.
