I need to purchase a wheel chock that will work both in the garage and on a trailer for my 2005 FJR. The one that I have found that fits the bill and is extremely well made is the one from K&L. The cheaper chocks are of less quality and most of them interfere with the front lower faring. I would like to know if anyone has used this model successfully on their bike before I order one. Because of it's weight (54lbs) and shipping costs, restocking fees, etc. a mistake might prove costly.

I have both the K&L and Condor wheel chalks. I like the Condor because it's made from aluminum and much lighter. A quality piece.

I have the condor mounted to a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and can move it from place to place to hold the bike.

I have a couple cheapy (on sale for $29) ones from Harbor Freight, they work great, no problem with fairing etc. I only use for hauling not in the garage.

Good luck.

Condor here also. Adjustable feature works well but you still have to be careful of the cow catcher.
