OK, so this morning I post this brutal to look at thread.,. then, tonight, driving the big Dodge 1 ton duallie home, (rain predicted and I'm a wuss in rain.. ) I damn near hit a freaking full legal sized buc. I mean, it was close. I saw him, no traffic opposing, moved over to the oncoming traffic lane.. and watched the stupid SOB try to still cross ahead of me. Grabbed a hand full of right, the freaking deer missed my left front by, maybe, on a good day, 6 inches. By then I really did not care.. It must be a case of Earl... karma and all. but dayumm it was close.. Shoot all the bastage deer, I no longer care.

They are everywhere around here. I worry about the one that always seems to be with the idiot forest rat you do see.

I was in the cascades in my truck on a narrow road and one decided to run parralel with me at 25 mph for a hundred feet or more...I couldn't shake him by slowing or speeding (as much as I could under conditions). Absolutely scary!

And I won't describe in detail the change of undies when I was in the right tire track lane of a blind left hander and a deer jumped out and missed my right handlebar by no more than three inches...

Or the time........

Ah, you get the idea. I commiserate with ya buddy!

If it helps at all lads, I took my first ever white tail buck two weeks ago (I just started hunting year before last).

I'll barbeque up some venison steaks for dinner tonight and with my first sip of wine, I'll raise a toast to FJR pilots everywhere.

Ride safe - and don't use your bike to fill your tags..... Bull

Nahhhh...just run over them with your truck. laugh.gif

Don't be doing that.... Last one I got with my Dually Dodge cost $5600.00, pushed the grill guard back into the radiator, took out the aftercooler, air conditioning condenser and rad.

Little bugger leaped over a guard rail alongside the hiway, didn't even have time to hit the brakes. That was one seriously dead deer.
