KHARMA

A couple kids are driving down a residential street when the kid in the back seat tries to knock a kid off his bike by slammin his door into him. Chalk the rest of the clip up to Karma

EDIT: Should have realized from vidoe the kid died, taking back my comment out of respect.

Holy shizzle - not sure he deserved that! Must be dead without question. A bumper to the face at probably a mimimum aggregate 40 mph only has one outcome.

The vid made the rounds many months ago. This teenager died. This is the kind of thing that makes it into those "Faces of Death" movies.

It is a shame that a young man died, However lets not forget that he and his friends were trying to injury another kid that could have been one of our own children. He may have been the biggest bully in his local school. He may have gotten what he deserved. Who knows.

Or it could have been a kid messin' around...bully or not...I'm not sure he deserved that. It could have been your own kid who got a bumper to his face...your "may have" comment should have two sides...of course where you are he prolly would have received the death penalty for his actions anyway.

Stupid is, as stupid does.
And teenagers are...

While I wouldn't wish this on anyone, I can't help but think this is the visual of "You reap what you sow."

Be careful how you treat you fellow man.

I agree completely with "you reap what you sow"! He was evidently out to harm others and got it kicked back on himslef. The video definitely gives one food for thought about how your actions may backfire on you. The only good thing I can hope for is that his buddies may have learned a needed lesson.

Messing around or not, He was still trying to hurt another kid when his accident happened. Hitting a kid on a bicycle with the door of a car going 40mph could have also caused the death of the boy on the bicycle. Reap what you sow, Fits here.

GUNNY!

"Be careful how you treat you fellow man." (sic)

What he said!

Who still thinks Mr. Darwin got it wrong?

Who still thinks Mr. Darwin got it wrong?
If you visit your doctor do you believe in Darwin's theory? Clearly we are not selecting the most biologocally advantageous humans now, it has to do with who can afford health care. Can't reproduce? Darwin would have said nature is telling you something, today's society says how much cash do you have?

I don't know how you guys feel about psychological research, but there is a compelling new study that claims that teenagers do not have the physical connections in their brains that allow them to make, what we adults consider as, rational decisions. There is the very real possibilty that if this young man could have avoided peer pressure he would have developed into a productive member of society. Or he may have been a complete ********, hard to predict from the actions of a teen.

No, he actually wouldn't have received the death penalty. We kill the ones that need killin' here, but the death penalty can only be applied in the case of a capital felony being committed. Definition?

A capital felony is one in which an individual "intentionally or knowingly causes the death of an individual," under special circumstances. In particular, the:

murder of a public safety officer, firefighter, or correctional employee;

murder during the commission of specified felonies (kidnapping, burglary, robbery, aggravated rape, arson);

murder for remuneration; multiple murders;

murder during prison escape; murder of a correctional officer;

murder by a state prison inmate who is serving a life sentence for any of five offenses; [or]

murder of an individual under six years of age1.

Hmmm... don't see being a juvenile ******* on that list, but thanks for the attempted slam on the Lone Star state. :rolleyes:

Sorry, the lack of rational decision making don't cut it for me. I knew, at a much younger age than he was, that you don't go slammin car doors into bicyclists. I can't see that creep becoming a contributing member of society, nor any of the others in that car-there are stupid actions, that an individual can make as concerns oneself, and then there are criminal decisions affecting others that defy logic and all that is intrinsically human. He crossed the line, in a big way, just as if he had a gun to the other kids head. I sincerely doubt improvement was forthcoming, and, assuming other actions of his were equally heinous, there are some who are silently thankful that he's gone. I knew a bully **** in junior high that got his ticket punched, there was absolutely no weeping at Wilson Jr High on hearing the news.

Well, one of my defining trademarks is that I overthink stuff, so maybe you're right Rad. By every standardized test I was an intelligent youth, and I did some things during that time that I will kindly describe as irrational, although I am sure what I did pales compared to some stories we could drum up around here. Ever wonder what Thug was like as a wee lad? Nowadays I am a pillar of the community, sort of. :)

What this kid did was doing was wrong, and maybe he was a ********. Don't know, but I won't make value judgements about him from one incident. Now the **** that posted the video, thats another story.

You don't know if he was trying to hurt the kid or not. YOU don't know what he was trying to do. Just because it says it in the description, that video is all over the net with different descriptions. He could have been trying to slap the kid on his ass as a joke.

The kid ****** up, that's pretty obvious...and it was a freak accident. I just don't think it's something you can simply pass judgment on.

Since we all claim to know what happened...it's pretty obvious that the guy on the bike was a firefighter, and I know for a fact that the kid in the car was trying to kill the guy on the bike...sooooo there ya go. DEATH PENALTY. Thanks for confirming my earlier statement.

(by the way I'm all for the death penalty...just bein sarcastic..)
