I don't know if this is the right place to post but I am am in Daytona for Bike week and and I went to the Daytona Speedway. They have all the manufacturers there displaying their wares. I sat on the the new Concours vs looking at it in Long Beach. Ergo is good and the seat, which is leather, is countoured for a seeminingly comfortable position. Bars seem higher and pulled back so no mods will not be necessary. ABS and all the susspension adjustments, less the lower fork adjustment. I understand ABS is not linked. Rear adjustment looks to be twist adjustable rather than switching from hard to soft which might give you more options. No cruise control and power is still not advertised. Sales look to be sometime in early summer. Fit an finish looks top notch so this may be a real competitor for the FJY. Single exhaust is a turn off for me but that is personal preference. Overall sitting on the bike felt good but how it stands up to th FJR in the real world has yet to be decided. It should be an intereting comparison head to head. No pricing info released. I will take a look it two years after they work out th bugs. I did notice they have no protection behind the front weel and the pipes and engine are exposed to road rash. Will probably be fixed before production. Manufacturer seem to think they solved any heat issues. They must be taking thw ques from The FJR trial and tribulations. I think I may give it a shot in the next generation after the bugs get worked out, which is not saying I'm getting rid of the FJR. All in all, a good looking bike.

As your post deals with a Kawasaki Concours, and you placed it in the "FJR Specific Discussion" area I would say that is a fairly succint, "NO".

Call me crazy, but I am thinking "Other Bike / Bike-related discussions would be more appropriate.
