Saweet!

That is a formidable and capable machine :clapping:

I still like the leaner looks of the FJR....but the GTR looks like fun to ride. haven't heard a price range yet......

I have no idea if it is true but my old dealer in wash. said to figure 12,500-13,000. Sounds to cheap to me but maybe its true.

Bring 15,000 Euro :dribble: to a Kawi dealer in Europe and you can have one...

Stef

If that is true, it's about €3000 cheaper than a FJR, €4500 cheaper than a ST1300 and €6000 cheaper than a K12GT. If that is true, I think none of the other 3 will sell much bikes once the Kawi is available.

It would be ironic if the FJR went from top dog in the class to the "bargain bike" in just a couple years. But what a bargain! The Kawi looks better moving in the video than static in a photo.

It's the bike equivalent of a lap dance! I'm throwin' singles at the monitor.
Of course, TWN could probably make a video that looks just as good with a Cerulean FJR as the star. :p

It is a lot about the color. :p :p

So, that's like $19,000 USD? Sure doesn't sound like FJR prices to me.
Toe, a new FJR1300 (non-YCCS) costs anything between EUR 13,500 and 15,500 in the major Euro markets.

(Some countries like Denmark, Norway etc. levy higher taxes but their M/C sales figures are not significant).

If you take Germany and Italy your sticker price is likely to fall right in there. Converting EUR into US$ at the current exchange is misleading, the "real" parity being 1 to 1.
