All previous discussions relative to lowering an FJR have all referenced the Koubalink which lowers a non-adjustable 7/8 inches. Has anyone used the lowering link (dogbone) from Soupy's performance (https://www.soupysperformance.com/catalog/item/4408900/6716152.htm)? It is a stainless steel link adjustable from stock to 4". Sure don't want a 4 inch drop but would like to have 1.5" or so. Any words of wisdom not already dispensed in previous lowering discussions?

Haven't tried Soupy's but did try Koubalink's 7/8" drop. Unless you intend on never turning a corner at speed or putting your bike up on the center stand I would consider the Kubalink a maximum drop. By the way they are for sale if you are interested. I removed them and went back to stock. Bought some thicker sole boots instead.
