Just saw on the FZ1 Forum that Larry Grodsky was killed. While riding through Texas a deer jumped out in front of him around 9:00pm. He was transporting a bike that he had picked up in California.
Larry taught me how to ride. I had the pleasure of having breakfast and dinner with he and his girlfriend after bumping into them by accident at the Natural Bridge Inn, in Virginia last May. Who knew it would be the last time I would ever see him. I'm sure that there are many here who were fans of his "Stayin Safe" articles in Rider magazine.
I was glad to have known him. To this day, Larry is the "little voice" in my head when I ride. God bless his soul. Rest in peace, Larry.
