Dennis (LDRyder) passed through reno today. He's on his way to start a very groovy LD ride.

Dennis left Washington this morning and will call it a day in Independence USA sometime this evening.

He brought down a sentimental thermos for me ...which will be used here and eventually passed on to the Hondarosa where it'll continue to get good use. This thermos belonged to Tim (TWN) and it's kinda fun to see it getting used by various folks. It is a component of the Skyway Hydration system that many of us have.

I hadn't seen Dennis' bike since he went darkside (car tire) ...so I gave it the once over and took a few pics ....he's done some nice things with the bike.

Weather here is still crazy. either sunny and 80degrees, or snowing. Today cool, windy and rain ..and were checking out the weather on Dennis' radar

Pretty nice set-up... for one of those inferior GenII bikes,Eh? :p

I think he needs more gadgets though! Maybe an AM transistor radio in case he gits tired of the XM Sat Radio and his playlists on the iPod.

Retractable lanyards are great... and apparently not just for keys!

Dennis, you're on your way to making Mr. Peek look like a rank amateur!

BTW, greetings from Reno. Staying at the Grand Sierra tonight.

Way cool Reno, the Thermos will be put to *Excellent* use at the Hondarosa. Of course, you will need to deliver it personally, and I just may invite a few others to help out. That, plus you and others need to see Tim's tree.

Enough HiJack - LdRyder, jeesh dude, you have everything on that bike except sat TV... Not sure what ride you're on, but I'm fully cheering you on..

Cuz (hopefully) you don't use the same items in the same places... y'know... for wiping things...

Nice pics, RJ, and best of of luck to Dennis on his quest! :clapping:

Bwahahaha, -ya, when you put it that way, -I kinda have to agree.

but nothing is as ghay as that soap on a rope that you have at the Hondarosa.

Visiting RJ less than 48 hours before he engages in a 48+? That's gotta be contrary to the Archive of Wisdom or something...like swapping alternators or something. ;)

That bikes is both clean in the installs and clean in a gh@y way. I'm sure after 30 or so states it will be properly splooged up.

Thanks RJ for pointing him south when you were done with him. It can be easy confusing Calexico with Hyder. :clapping:

Bwahahahha

Well Iggster, since you brought up gh@y .....

last time Dennis had that bike in Reno -we were heading down to White Stag ....and a heavy freeze before our early morning departure. Bikes were all covered with heavy ice ....and what does Dennis do? He turns on his heated Corbin. Now, that is G H @ Y

....and now it just seems to get worse ...as he's added a car tire.

I didn't allow him to loiter in my crib too long ..sent him down the road to a favorite lodging location of mine: Independence CA ...he'll get a good night's sleep there as there ain't much else to do.

(note eric V and Ken M in the background. Those two are real riders and don't need a heated seat)

***Iggster ...if you ever see me with a heated seat and/or car tire .....please take me out behind the barn and cut off my mangina.

I wouldn't get within a 100 meters of it. But I got your back. I'd shoot it at 200+ with multiple 5.56 rounds.
