I can't tell you how greatful I am that we have been able to enjoy the kids as much as we are and still find time to pursue our own passions.

In the last couple of weeks we took the Kids to Disney, Sea World and the beach and I made it to the desert (Superstition) for some off roading, the mountains for some street riding and to Vegas for a quick trip with "the boys".

I even managed to get some work done. This coming weekend will be a family weekend and next weekend the guys have a Baja coastal dirt bike trip planned (Santo Tomas to San Quintin).

Always good to stop and reflect and appreciate what yah have. I got my lovely wife, my sweet dog and the black FJR. What else do I need? Ok I could do without the FJR.

My lovely wife and sweet dog were watching over my shoulder, and my lovely wife is highly interested in what the bike in the background of that picture is...

It was my highly farkled 06 Suzuki V-strom. I sold 'er to buy my FJR.

Wow...was that a 650 or a 1000?

I tried to get the wife to look at the v-strom, but I think she thinks its too tall and too...dual-sport.

Now, that looks like a stunt cage on that thing, but is it just a bag mount/luggage rack and a tip-over-guard in front?

Unless that's a fake can on the left side it is a 1000. 650 has a 2-1 exhaust.
