My Dad and Mom on his (and eventually my) Yamaha 250cc Electric Twin.

BTW my first Yami 80cc was red too. It definitely makes the Black Cherry taste better.

That little bike looks like a lot of fun. Much cooler than the Honda Dream.

You don't need to justify switching colors. Red is very nice. The only problem is that the red ones are slower.

There is sumptin ominious about that photo.

Hmmm...

bikes in a grave yard, not a good match.

Yep, I grew up beside that big graveyard. My Dad always said "They make the best neighbors. You don't bother them and they won't bother you."

Funny thing is, I am so used to it, that I never even thought about your observation. My Dad never feared death nor regretted life. He sure loved motorcycles. I wish he was still around to ride the 07.

I love the new avatar. You can't even tell that you're a squid! Oh, BTW... the sig line needs work.

Jeff,

Having met you at EOM last year you sure do look like your Dad in your facial features...its amazing.

You gotta love the matching leather jackets!

My first was a yellow 100 yammi, same vintage. Boy, I wish I had a picture. That bike taught me the value of Loc-tite. :D

One of my Daddy's favorite quipps was "You know how you tell a happy motorcycle rider??? By the bugs on his teeth!"

He always had a smile with two wheels under his ass. My Mom is still alive, and at 78 she will be riding on new FJR as soon as the weather turns decent. I'll have to get a picture in the same spot and post them up side by side.

I'm afraid to ask...

Kudos to mom and dad on that, my first bike was a Husky 250. I needed a step stool to get on it, made for an interesting and somewhat painful intro to motorcycling.

He needs to just go ahead and change his "handle" to Haulin Ashe......don't you think, Heidi?
