This totally blows. Keep in mind, I don't download anything illegal or for free! Any speculation on any forum members part is purely that.

But my argument is - ok, back in the day, you could hold hold your tape recorder up to the stereo and record whatever you wanted. now you can't do that even with new technology to replace the old school. everybody wants to get paid now.

guess i'll have to get my tape deck out. hmmmm

Good! This no doubt explains the recent drop in bandwidth usage from the dorms. At least till they find another way to pirate music and distribute viruses and malware. Try to remember this - TANSTAAFL There aint no such thing as a free lunch. Especially true of the internet. Look VERY carefully at anything that is free, 'cuz more often than not there is a hook in that bait.
