I was washing the bike the other day,And noticed a wheel on the left side of the faring beside the forks. What is that for?

Thanks,

Adam

I think it's where you route the winch cable in case you have to tow a Harley. :D

If your talking about the button looking protrusion, down low and pointing to the rear, I believe it is for fork dampening. There should be a blurb about adjustment in the manual.

Sounds more like the headlight adjuster screw (now, go find the other :p )

Alan

(When in doubt, turn the sucker and see what happens. And, always count your turns. If it clicks it is forks, if your headlight moves up and down...)

There are two "little wheels" in there. The side one adjusts horizontal aim, the lower front one adjusts vertical.

WOW!! You mean these headlights can be adjusted up and down and left and right!!! What'll they think of next?? High beams maybe? :tease:

There's also the idle adjustment knob, but that's down low on the right side, no where near the forks.

And you have to turn them FOREVER to make any difference. They have VERY fine threads. Clockwise is for up, counterclockwise is down.

Pull up to a wall so you can see the change as you turn and turn and turn and......
