This is a 2002 ZR7-S that I bought from FJRay on this forum. It was wrecked in the front and pretty much totaled. It would cost a lot to get the fairing and all of the plastics for it, so I decided to make it naked. It's running now, just needs paint and a few details (and better weather).

I like her just like she is; blemished, battle scarred, and ready for action!

She has a certain :****: -you attitude that is, according to my bud RenoJohn, 'groovy'..

A friend had one of these, she rode it nearly to its death... and bought another one just like it.

Currently finished in black sandable primer. The wife has to decide if she wants this bike instead of her GS500F. I'm hoping she opts for the ZR, so it can also be a good 2nd bike for me. :D Either way, it's getting red AND flat black this winter, as I'm painting Feej with red and flat black as well.

And Ray, it was most certainly a hideous purple (IMHO), although you can call it blue if you want. :) Seriously, the bike turned out to be in excellent mechanical shape once I got it put together. Thanks.

The ZR7 crowd called that color Blurple. I like the yellow one we got to replace it much better. On the mechanicals it was treated like a baby by my wife and she made sure I kept all the stuff done by the book. Enjoy. :yahoo:

A street fighter with scars gains instant cred. :good:
Have you thought of maybe some rattle-can flat black paint? Naaaah, she's good to go.
Looks like he did the flat black. It was blue when it left here
I'm not getting old, my computer screen needs adjusting. Yeah, that's it!

mumble mumble, I coulda sworn it was gray-blue and dirty. mumble, mumble...
