Join us in a very spirited run up and out Quincy-LaPorte Road to.....Quincy,

and then back on Bucks Lake Road.

Brekkie at Katrina's in Auburn @ 0700.

Should be rolling by 0745.

No screwing around.

Just breakneck speeds, overcooking corners, double-yellow passing, and heavy drinking.

Gonna be fun.

Just got back to Dixon from riding with OM and the boys. Those boys can lead, follow or get out of the way.

OM cussed me out fiercely when I was leading the group at 90mph in a 55mph zone. Somehow later,when the group was flying some new pavement at 65 mph that was OK.

That was 65 mph through some awesome twisties marked 25 mph, must be old signs from before the new pavement.

We stopped at the corner where OM went cliff diving near La Porte. That corner is a killer, right hand, downhill sweeper that becomes off camber, decreasing radius as the road drops out from under your wheels. Did I mention it gives you no warning and no posted speed sign. Sean found OMs headlight asembly from the crash hidden behind a tree.

I headed home halfway through OMs ride due to lack of sleep and this was the first time back on the bike in months.

Total mileage for me was 359 miles and the others are most likely still out there riding as I type.

I must say Bucks Lake Road is awesome with the new pavement.
