I will be there from 4-7pm. Should be easy to find me, yeah right. Anyways, I will be in gear- HI VIZ aerostich pants with a canon slr camera standing next to the models (probably at Ducati). Have you noticed that Ducati always have the best models? Say hi if you are a fellow FJR forum member.

I'm leaving at noon for the LA Auto show. I'll do a quick 2 hour blast through there, then hit the MC show. S/B there by 5ish. I'll have my FJR hat on and be standing nekkid by the Umbrella Girl booth.

I'll be there as well with my 13 yr. old son - agree love those Duc's. Just got the new Cycle World with the 1098 - RRREEEAAAALLLL NNNIIIICCCCCEEEE!

Well, I saw 03Silverbullet there. Nice to meet you. I really wanted to meet TWN, after all I have read and what not. Someone parked ther silver fjr by my blue 06 and Larry's silver 03. Speak up if you are on this forum.

Uuuhh Mike,

I was talking about Models as in Girls, but yeah that 1089 looks great. I miss the 999 front end. I think now is a good time to buy a 999. I'll see if the wife agrees. That didn't take long- NO!!

Barry,

Sorry I missed you at the show. I was there from 4:30pm - 7:30pm, checking out most of the exhibits. I did meet up with Fairlaner (Richard), and riding buddy Steve. I'll post pics tomorrow. Great show!

Sorry, someone else will have to post. Seeing as how I do not have a photo hosting service. My summary- go see all the beautiful girls and bikes for yourself, if at all possible.

We looked for all the FJR hats, but it is a big show with a lot of things to catch your eyes. Must say that I was not all that impressed with the BMW K1200gt. Seat was really, really uncomfortable. And I am not that picky as I still ride a stock FJR seat and am happy with that.

Sorry I missed youz guyz. Oooh, that Duc was sweet! Though the booth gals were killer, did any of you see the pro photog that was clicking pictures in the Duc booth? O..... M..... G.....! :dribble: She was smokin'! Woof! There was some other eye candy scattered about, but that one took the prize, IMO.

The '07 cherry color is pretty sweet, but I was amazed at the number of people standing in front of the the Connie, just starring, pointing and mumbling to their friends. That bike, my friends, is gonna be a popular ride.

Booth girls, muy bien, si!

Agreed as to the black cherry soda color.

Lotta shoe scuffs on the bags

I was there today and I watched a couple people swing a leg over and add another scrape. Cost of doing business, I suppose.

As for the Connie, I stood and stared stared for a long time, too. Very nice bike. I thought the single exhaust cannister was a bit much [it's huge] but otherwise looks great.

Added my scuff to the bags too. What's with that? I can get on and off my own bike without a foot touching the bags.

The cough syrup color looks a lot better in person than it does in pictures. Sweet looking bike, but I still like silver or blue best.

Maybe because it was on the center stand? I don't mount my bike when on the center stand often. When I do, then more likely than not I put a scuff on it.

Nope - that wasn't it. I remember the bike being on the side stand because when I pulled it up straight, it was higher in the seat than mine. Only one tip toe at a time able to touch the ground.

On the way home, I was followed by a blue FJR ridden by a big guy wearing a Hi-viz yellow suit. I thought of you, but this was Saturday afternoon. You didn't go back for a second look at the show did you?

What, is someone copying me out there? Damn, I must find him and run him down!!. As to yesterday, no not me- wife and I went to a LA kings game. Too fun. Fight between Lapierre and Avery.

I've been watching out for you, thinking that there could only be one person in the local area that fit the profile. I was so sure that yellow glow in the mirrors was you. I even expected a posted critique on my riding, since the pink jacket and personal plate pretty much distinguishes me.

Do fight fans go to watch the hockey? or vice versa? :D
