Long time lurker, Now posting a few mods and impressions

Good day all,

Love the site and picked up a lot of ideas and information. Here are my mods:

Schwin wraps for bikes at Canadian tire, throttle lock and O-ring cruise. I keep the O-ring on the clutch side when I don't use it.

Laminar lip to help about wind protection. Will let you know how that goes.

Other mini-mods:

Top Box (Chinese knock-off) ADLO with custom adaptor plate made from a kitchen cutting board.

Garmin mount on the tank.

CO levels at 7,7,7,7 from 0 all around?

Techlusion fuel nanny coming up soon.

These are the Yamaha ones. Quite expensive but seem to be the most protection. A friend of mine droped his yet only had scrapes on his side case, the Yam slider and the mirror.

First time I've seen the o-ring throttle lock on the FJR. Was a staple of the Concours community. How does it work and do you have a source/part number?

This one is actually not a Caterpillar but a close match sold by a guy on Ebay.

Not sure if he sells more. here's a link I used.

Seller was wm*59.

Works quite well. Slips a little at time but ... most excellent way to rest you hands.

Oh, and the laminar lip is exactly as promised. I ride with the screen 1/3 up for clean air on the helmet only and almost all up on the highway for a pretty calm bubble. I even wear a half helmet now.
